This is another one of those bags that’s really not up my alley, but I suspect that it might be up someone’s. Obviously there are a lot of people that enjoy the whipstitched, embroidered, neo-Native American trend that’s going on right now, or designers wouldn’t bother continuing to make the stuff.

Blake Lively was the center of attention at "Gossip Girl" costume designer Eric Daman's launch party for his new book "You Know You Want It: Style-Inspiration-Confidence," which was held at Henri Bendel in NYC on January 12. The ‘Choo-Choo train’ is chugging on. First, the celebrity Jimmy Choo brand collaborated with the Establishment label, Hunter, last summer, to produce a status pair of super-wellies, in black mock-croc, priced at £250. Now, the shoemakers to the stars are collaborating with Ugg Australia on a limited edition collection of women’s sheepskin footwear.

What do Penelope Cruz and Marion Cotillard have in common? Well, okay, more than one thing I guess. They’re both stunningly beautiful women. They’re also both actresses starring in the award-nominated musical film Nine. On top of that, they were both in Rome for the premiere of the movie.

I a pear? Or an apple? Maybe a banana? Most days I feel like a donut. The body shape food analogies just make me hungry, so let's try measuring devices: spoon, ruler, cone or hourglass? I, like most women (and men), according to a recent survey, prefer the hourglass description. We're talking Marilyn Monroe curves here -- tiny waist, big chest, full, round rear, everything in perfect proportion.

Toni Poole was said to want something different for her wedding day. She therefore went for a sequined beaded gown by couture designer Steven Hakes and teamed it up with Jimmy Choos. The dress was said to have 12,000 beads but we are more interested in the ruffled skirt, which we think is gorgeous.

Most of the decent sale clothing I've tried to get my hands on this January has long been snapped up by eager shoppers with beadier eyes than me. But the cosmetic counter seems to be another story altogether: loads of great brands are on sale at dramatically reduced prices, and I'm not talking the cheap stuff they want to get rid of: I'm talking Elemis, Benefit, Elizabeth Arden, Dermalogica, Clarins and more.

My father has a fabulous Argentinean leather case to protect his iPhone- but it has a major setback. As many fellow iPhone users may know, it’s easiest to type when the screen isn’t framed by some thick case, like the one my father owns. What’s a fashionable touch-typer to do? Buy a supple leather Linea Pelle iPhone Case, of course.

At last week’s People’s Choice Awards I was so busy trying to decide if I liked Carrie Underwood’s dress (final verdict: yes I did!) that I made the fatal mistake of not even glancing at her shoes. That’s practically a cardinal sin right there, you know? And what a mistake it was, because LOOK at those shoes on her feet! Aren’t they gorgeous.

Your Wedding Day is a 'once in a lifetime' experience, so you want to look totally stunning in your wedding dress. It's been estimated that on average we'll spend over £700 on a wedding dress. But have you given any thought to what you'll wear underneath? Many brides follow the traditional misconception that a basque set up fits under all dresses, however, if your wearing a straight frock, this may give you lumps and bumps in all the wrong places.

Once again, Marvin has thrown all the watchmaking codes out of the window. At a time when functions, materials and costs are subject to great one-upmanship in the world of watchmaking, the brand has created the M112, an object with a timeless design that will withstand changes in fashion and the passing years.

Just because New Year’s Eve and the parties it promises have come and gone doesn’t mean that we should all stop lusting after tiny, shiny clutches. Quite the contrary, in fact! New Year’s Eve is merely our yearly reminder of how fun they are, even if they’re not very functional.
