Ann Summers is best known for their kinky night wear, brand spanking Rabbits and erotic emporium, but did you know they also have a toiletry line as well? Typically it's a little on the X-rated side, and their new Ravishing perfume is chock full of pheromones, the chemicals that attract people to each other.

Hi, fellow fragrance fiends! I’m sitting here at my desk, rockin’ out to Duran Duran (hungry like the wolf!) and sniffing the new Bath & Body Works lotion in Black Amethyst.
The scent is a big departure from Bath & Body Works’ last fragrance, Rainkissed Leaves. Leaves was light, but notes of amber, citrus and vanilla make Black Amethyst a richer, thicker scent for fall.

Since I live in a country where the sun seldom shines, the best thing to do is fake a tan! They say that film stars use St Tropez, and it is reputed to be the best tanning product on the market, so I took the plunge and decided to try it out at home, making sure my husband was there to help do the bits that I could not reach by myself. Yes, it's true. For the next month you guys get a whopping 20% off fine summer fragrances from Beauty Counter Direct. There are a lot to choose from, from the delightful Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker, and L'eau D'Issey. I've been checking out Nina Ricci's L'Air du Temps, and have to say it's a really elegant and feminine smell.

We're quite a a fan of Beauty Credit here at our offices as they offer up quality products with a minimal price. I've been testing out their pomegranate essence and really like it so far. It's a lightweight moisture lotion, suitable for daytime wear with a really nice consistency. It absorbs really quickly and has a slight hint of scent.

I do like a nice body lotion, but all to often there are problems with consistency, texture and absorbency rate. It's no good presenting me with some lush smelling cream which then takes an hour to absorb, as I'll never use it. I've been trying this cream for the last month and so far I'm really taken with it.

You probably know me well enough by now to know I go ape over anything fruity and fresh, so the latest Citrus line from L'Occitane has me coming over all faint. The new Citrus Verena fragrance is a mixture of lemon oil and grapefruit extract and smells like summer.

Hey Beauty readers,
I’ve been writing on the Home and Garden section, but this week they asked me if I would like to write something in the Beauty section. I jumped at the chance because it’s something I happen to know a thing or two about!
My first thought was to do a blog about my favorite fragrance. For two years I worked at a retail store called Fred Segal located on the famous Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, CA.

Daily intake of orange juice could lead to the onset of type two diabetes in women, a new study published in the journal Diabetes Care revealed.
While drinking orange juice is deemed healthy since it contains a high percentage of vitamin C, the absence of any fibre in it could raise the body blood sugar which increases the risk of contracting diabetes by more than 18 percent.
